It’s intriguing that Turks and Caicos heather was chosen given that the nationwide flower rather than one of several islands' orchids, like the Caicos Encyclia orchid (Encyclia caicensis). This orchid is found only inside the Caicos Islands and has a remarkable choice of shade variants.
